Her name is Moon Dragon (Marvel Comics), she’s The High Priestess representing the Moon in her higher aspect-the aspect that joins the human to the divine. A powerful telepath, martial artist extraordinaire, telekinetic and highly skilled geneticist, originating from Titan.

The principal deities connected with this card are those who, by tradition, represent the lunar goddess, virgin priestess, huntress, and most importantly, the powers and mysteries of woman as the initiatrix..

She is wearing a veil with a lunar crescent stitched on the crown of her head, around her waist is a belt adorned with the emblazoned sun with the eye of Horus in it. A reflection of the Magician card as well as the Fool card. Her Kimono is embroidered with flowers and leaves, symbolizing life. A master of spirit who stands in front of two dueling presence thus acting as a keeper of secrets as well as the Guardian of it.

The arms of the Priestess sweep upward, pulling and distorting the webbed network of space and light, forming the crescent bowl of a Moon. The panels on either side of her are obscured by the veil and somewhat difficult to see. But it is important to be conscious of their presence since the door or panel to her left is Life and Mercy, and the panel to her right is Severity and Destruction.

Along the card are borders depicting carp swimming in water, the astrological sign of Pisces governed by the Moon. Along the four corners of the border are the four phases of the moon.
Like the character Moon Dragon the High Priestess is light and the body of light. She is the truth behind the Veil of Light. She is the soul of light.

Side note: Is it just me? I don’t know why but I find bald women very alluring. Crystal ball crystal ball, tell me my future. Ha ha ha Ok besides the joke, I seriously wanted Ms Bald Moon Dragon to get a new look. I thought, ‘hey? Why not make her attractive? I know she’s bald and all but let’s give her a makeover that is due.’ So, to complement her “bald” nature I added the Zen motif and gave her a ‘kind’ and ‘serene’ face, instead of the stern and eat your balls face she usually has. So enjoy her Bald Priestess as much as you can.
