Isis Revamped

This was a commission piece one of three, for Gekko. Size was 11x15 with pencil. It was a request to revamp the comic character ISIS. I was in a time constraint of four hours to complete it, which includes the initial concepts and thumbnails. On top of that throw in the extra research on Egypt and four hours seemed too short!
Isis is a goddess of magic, life and death. She's currently stepping out of the wall to bust somebody's ass. By her expression, she's gonna enjoy it big time. She's wearing the ankh belt with a scarab headdress which is her symbol and holding a lotus shaped staff. Along her neck is the hawk head necklace, also a symbol of Isis. Enjoy.
