May 20, 2010 Update.

Wow, didn't know this work was going to have the impact it did. Thank you all for you kind comments. I wanted to say more but was so tired. So, here are the details left out.

I wanted to try a couple new techniques to get what I believe is better hair. It came out wonderful. To help achieve that I chose a thick paper with a smooth surface. I don't know what it is because it was just layin' around. I grabbed it and used it. However, scanning it in was a problem. And I think it's due to the paper I used. Believe it or not, the original is much better. Her face is not that blotchy, although on here it kinda looks like alien skin but the effect actually, IMHO, came out nice. Had to touch it up a little in photoshop but not bad, for now. When I finish something, I don't want to go back to it, ever. Just learn from it, move on. Else, I'd be spending too much time fixing everything I did. There's a few other techniques I tried out that I like but not noticeable. So, we'll leave it at that.
